The experience
The couples who book me want one thing: to watch their wedding film and relive this amazing day as it actually happened. I’m not staging moments or pulling you away for shots. What you get back is your day. Real, imperfect, and completely yours.
Your Wedding Film Journey
Before your wedding day, we'll set aside time for your Story Session. Just the two of you, somewhere that feels like you. A scenic spot, a favorite hike, a quiet dinner. I'll ask you a few questions and let the conversation go where it goes. How you met, what you love about each other, what this day actually means to you.
That footage becomes part of your film. So what you receive isn't just a record of your wedding day. It's your whole story, told in your own words, woven into the film from the very beginning.
For couples I'm traveling to, we'll usually schedule this a day or two before the wedding while I'm already in the area. By the time your wedding day arrives, I already know you.
As your wedding gets closer, I’ll have a call with you and/or your planner to go over the full day schedule and logistics. No surprises. Everyone on the same page before the day arrives.
My approach on the day is simple: document, don’t direct. I’m not staging moments or pulling you away for shots. I’m there to capture what’s actually happening; the tears, the laughter, the quiet moments nobody else noticed. You’ll barely know I’m there.
Most wedding videographers hand you a package and ask you to fit your day inside it. That's not how I work. One collection, one price: $6,000 for weddings, $4,000 for elopements. It covers everything: full day coverage, your Story Session, a complete documentary film, and travel. A few optional add-ons exist if you want them, but nothing you'll feel pressured into.
If you're getting married in South Dakota's Black Hills and are looking for both photo and video, I partner with Katie Mary Photography — book us together and you'll receive a discount on both.
Within a week of your wedding, I’ll post a sneak peek to my social media pages so you get a first look while the day is still fresh.
No later than 8 weeks after your wedding, your completed film is delivered to your own custom video gallery. Yours to keep and revisit whenever you want.
kind words from past couples
Kristi & Colton
“Nathaniel was so helpful in all aspects of our perfect day. He was much more than a videographer for us and went the extra mile for us on our wedding day and even before. He’s a super great dude, made us feel so comfortable and like he wasn’t even there, so he truly was able to capture such an authentic representation of our lives.”
Michelle & Dylan
“When we watched our video for the first time, we were absolutely in awe. Nathaniel’s ability to tell a story through his lens is pure artistry — every detail, every glance, every bit of emotion was perfectly woven together. It felt like reliving the most beautiful day of our lives all over again.”
Miranda & Josh
“If you're trying to decide where to spend and where to save on your wedding, let me make it easy: budget for Nathaniel Wilson Video. His work isn’t just a wedding video; it’s a beautifully curated time capsule of one of the most meaningful days of your life.”
Your wedding film will be a time capsule that brings you right back to every emotion, every laugh, and every happy tear. Years from now, you’ll press play and feel the whole day rush back. Not just the polished moments, but the real ones. The ones you didn’t even notice at the time. That’s what I’m there to catch.
Absolutely. I’m based in Arizona and South Dakota, and will travel to any destination. There are also no extra travel costs.
From morning prep to late-night dancing, I’ll be there the entire day.
A $2,000 retainer is due 3 weeks after your proposal is sent, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding. I'm also more than happy to set up an interest-free payment plan.
